To work for the conservation and protection of archaeological and rock art sites through cooperation with land owners, and local, state, and federal agencies

To record archaeological and rock art sites in Central California

To promote and stimulate interest and research in the field of archaeology and rock art

To establish and maintain contacts with local, national and international organizations, agencies, educational institutions, and individuals engaged in archaeological research and related fields
